About Bangsaphan
Bangsaphan is a small coastal resort town on the Gulf of Thailand, it is blessed with a warm climate year round, clear waters in which to swim or snorkel, and miles of uncrowded beaches. The town is approximately 400 kilometers from Bangkok and a two hour drive from Hua Hin and its plentiful golf courses, an hour to the south is Chumphon and easy access to the islands of Koh Tao, Pha-ngan and Samui. Bangsaphan Property
Other areas of Thailand have witnessed sharp price increases for property and real estate and recent strong local currency rates do not help the matter for foreign investors. In Bangsaphan property prices have been slowly but steadily increasing so now is the best time to invest. Land prices in the desirable spots have been going up in value at around 15-20% per year despite the economic slowdown.

In desireable spots along Suan Luang beach prime plots of land are being snapped up fast by both Thais and foreigners indicating that the area is a good spot for investment and prices are still reasonable. So far the area has not see the vast price over-inflation that can be found in Hua Hin.

Bangsaphan Expat Life
There is a very small expat community in Bangsaphan consisting of 40 or so permanently residing foreigners from the UK, US, Germany, France, Switzerland, Italy, New Zealand and other nations. A handful of western restaurants and bars is all there is to cater for them, there are no top-end tourist high-rises here, Bangsaphan is for those seeking a laid back beach lifestyle.
